NORMAN — A car sought since a 7-year-old girl and her mom's estranged husband disappeared from Comanche County in January has been found at Lake Thunderbird, authorities said today.

It appears there were bodies present in the car, Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown told The Oklahoman earlier in the day...

The car was found in a field near a heavily wooded rural area just north of SE 108 and State Highway 9. Brown confirmed the car was the 1992 Toyota Paseo owned by Tonya LeAnn Hobbs, who was found slain Jan. 24 in Geronimo...

J.J. Johnson, Aja's father, said an OSBI agent visited his house just before 6 p.m. and told him two bodies had been found. The agent could not confirm that one of them was his daughter.
Watching television coverage today from the scene, however, Johnson said he saw a pink and blue jacket he'd purchased for his daughter — and knew she was dead...
