For almost a year, Roy Kronk has been heralded as the man who did what others could not: He found missing toddler Caylee Anthony's remains in woods near her family home...Now, Anthony's defense team hopes Kronk will become reasonable doubt to a jury. Legal documents filed this week reveal interviews with Kronk's ex-wives, his son and a daughter of another ex-girlfriend. They paint a picture of a man with a shady past and a history of abusing and restraining women...

Kronk has never been charged, and the claims could not be independently verified. He denies the claims....Some legal experts say this is an attack on a witness and the defense will have a hard time showing how these prior acts are relevant to the case...Others say it's a smart move by Anthony's attorneys to create reasonable doubt....Kronk found Caylee's skull in a bag in woods Dec. 11.

I'm really appalled by this--blaming Kronk. Baez has also requested ALL of Tim Miller's Equusearch records. How many times did we hear the Anthony's begging the public to search for her granddaughter, now the one who found her is under suspicion. Guess it just doesn't pay to be a good Samaritan these days, unless you can afford a good lawyer.

Prosecutors handling the Casey Anthony first-degree murder case will question private investigator Dominic Casey in November, according to a deposition notice filed today. Dominic Casey will be questioned at 11 a.m. Nov. 12.

This comes as attorneys who represent Zenaida Gonzalez, the Kissimmee woman suing Casey Anthony for defamation, are trying to secure a deposition from the private investigator.

He had refused to be questioned by the civil attorneys, saying the information he has is considered privileged since he worked for Anthony, her defense attorney and her parents...

Prosecutors will also depose Mallory Parker on Nov. 12. Parker was Casey Anthony's brother's girlfriend at the time Caylee was reported missing. It's unclear what Parker and Lee Anthony's relationship status is today.

Prosecutors also filed another discovery notice today, outlining what items will be released to Casey Anthony's defense team. It includes a one-page document and a CD of Casey Anthony's tattoos.

OK. Here we go. One of Casey's 'friends' said early on in an interview that he/she knew Mallory HAD been interviewed by police, and I've wondered why her statements haven't been released. She has to know what's happened, or at least she knows whatever Lee did and dealt with.

During the deposition Cindy Anthony also told attorneys she thinks someone else dumped Caylee's body in the woods near their home after hearing Casey Anthony during a jail visitation video saying she thought her daughter was close by.

Cindy Anthony threw a complete hissy fit in the Morgan and Morgan law offices just before she walked out following her three-hour deposition.

Brad Conway has not exactly served his clients well through the deposition. Maybe he has not been up against other really vicious attorneys in the past. He might have some style in there that I'm missing. He seems to be stunned--just sits there. How long has he been in practice?

On the other hand, John Morgan does twist his questions, wanting a yes or no answer for facts that he has injected with hyperbole. Both attorneys repeated the same questions over and over.
Both Keith Mitlik and John Morgan were being dicks in a sweet mouth, smarmy kind of way.

I can't believe Conway would allow them to testify without telling them in detail that this document is as good as being in court. And that they can ask anything. And they have to answer or face contempt of court.

That's why I can't wait for Casey's counter suit against Zenaida G. Oh, I know it will soon be withdrawn--it was just an intimidation tactic anyway--but wouldn't it be fun to see Casey up there on cross? She thinks she is so smart.

What ever has happened with Mallory? Have she and Lee Anthony parted ways? Lee said he had been living at home since January to 'pool resources' (in his testimony on Zenaida's suit). But it seems I remember Lee having given some guys name as a roommate during his interview with LE. Did they ever live together? Are they still bf/gf? What does she have to say about the cast of characters and does she have an opinion?

Casey Anthony's nanny remarks have 'never been in regards to this Zenaida,' Lee Anthony said under oath during a deposition Friday.

Casey Anthony's brother, Lee, said under oath Friday that Zenaida Gonzalez -- a Kissimmee woman suing his sister for defamation -- is not the Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez his sister claims vanished with her child.

He said that Friday during more than three hours of questioning by Gonzalez's attorney John Morgan, who conducted the deposition in his firm's mock courtroom in downtown Orlando."This has never been in regards to this Zenaida," Lee Anthony said, talking to Gonzalez, who attended the deposition.

His sister described a different woman: someone in her 20s who has no children. She is 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 7 and 120 pounds. Gonzalez -- the woman suing his sister -- is a 38-year-old mother of six.

Gonzalez's attorneys said they took a big step Friday in clearing their client's name."We now have a family member say under oath that it ain't this Zenaida Gonzalez and that's a good day for her," said her other attorney Keith Mitnik. Gonzalez is suing Casey Anthony in civil court for more than $15,000 in damages. She claims she lost her job and suffered public humiliation and emotional stress after Casey Anthony identified a nanny who took her child as Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez.

Anthony told investigators that she left 2-year-old Caylee with a woman named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez at Sawgrass Apartments and that the two later vanished. Zenaida Gonzalez, the one suing Casey Anthony, once visited Sawgrass but did not know Anthony or Caylee.

On Friday, Lee Anthony and his attorney, Thomas Luka, were prepared to leave if the media were allowed to attend the deposition. Before they arrived at the Morgan & Morgan law firm, attorneys told more than a dozen reporters and photographers that they would have to stay out of the room. A copy of the video deposition and a transcript became public later Friday when they were filed in court. (Thomas Luka and Lee were so sure he wouldn't be testifying that Luka had set a court date on a different case for 10:30. Guess he didn't know that whether the media was there or not, the deposition would be released to the public afterward anyway.)

No major revelations emerged from Anthony's questioning, but some details were clarified. Lee Anthony told the attorneys that his sister admitted lying to the investigators about what happened when Caylee disappeared.

Shortly after she was released from jail in August, Casey Anthony told Lee Anthony that Caylee was taken from Jay Blanchard Park by Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez to teach Casey Anthony a lesson. The nanny sent messages to Casey Anthony via the Internet. His sister claimed that if she alerted the police, Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez would harm Anthony's family. He doesn't know what lesson the nanny wanted to teach his sister.

Lee Anthony related the story to his mother, Cindy Anthony, but not to investigators. He also said he never found any communication between his sister and the nanny on any computer. (And...why does he need imunity to testify in the criminal case? I forget...hmm)

Morgan asked Lee Anthony if he considered whether his sister was responsible for Caylee's disappearance. But Luka stopped Anthony from answering the question.

Near the end of the interview, Morgan brought up Caylee's memorial service held this month. He asked Lee Anthony what he meant by the "CMA" he referred to during the ceremony. Anthony, during the service, mentioned a promise he made to "CMA.""Speaking to Caylee ... I made a promise to her early, early on in July that no matter what it took, I was going to find out the truth," Anthony explained to Morgan.

And even though he admits that she lied to him, her parents and the police, he believes everything his sister tells him.

Lawyer: Casey Anthony's brother won't talk if media show up at deposition

Lee Anthony isn't going to answer questions under oath if the media show up for his deposition this morning, his attorney Thomas Luka said.

The pair will leave if Keith Mitnik with the Morgan & Morgan law firm lets reporters attend the questioning, he said. Luka said he would file a motion asking a judge to keep his client from answering questions in front of media and would challenge Mitnik to explain to the court why he allowed the media to be there.

This is part of an ongoing defamation case involving Zenaida Gonzalez, a 38-year-old Kissimmee mother, and Lee Anthony's sister, Casey Anthony.

In July, Anthony told investigators that she left 2-year-old Caylee with a nanny named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez at Sawgrass Apartments and the two later vanished. Zenaida Gonzalez, the one suing Casey Anthony, once visited Sawgrass but did not know Anthony and Caylee. In her lawsuit, Gonzalez says she has lost her job and suffered humiliation and public embarrassment since Casey Anthony said a woman with her name was Caylee's baby sitter. She is seeking more than $15,000 in punitive damages.

Mitnik said he's tired of people avoiding scheduled depositions.

Anthony's parents, George and Cindy Anthony, were supposed to be questioned Thursday, but the depositions were postponed after an emergency hearing Wednesday. Orange Circuit Court Judge Jose R. Rodriguez will rule under what conditions the couple will be interviewed.

"It's getting out of hand," Mitnik said of Lee Anthony's plans. "We have a lawsuit ... Everyone doesn't get to keep putting things off. Enough is enough."Some media attorneys say reporters don't have much say about whether they can be present or not.

Attorney Alison Steele, who has represented a number of outlets, including the St. Petersburg Times, and is not involved in this case, said both sides have to agree for reporters to sit in on depositions."In general in Florida, there is no First Amendment right for members of the news media to attend if one or more parties don't want them there," she said.

But a judge could rule in the media's favor and allow their entry, she added.

What is it with these people? Do they think because Casey murdered her child and her parents flew the country to appear on every news program possible, that they are above the law now? Judge Rodriguez should slap a contempt of court charge on all their asses. See how they like sitting the the jail themselves. I'll bet they would testify soon enough. It just gets worse the farther it goes. If you go by the interviews the Casey fan club gave shortly after Caylee's "disappearance", they have all the answers right there.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Cindy and George Anthony were supposed to give depositions Thursday morning, but a judge is giving them more time. The Anthonys have 20 days to turn over medical records to prove they're emotionally unable to answer questions in the suit.

The civil case against Casey Anthony was fought in court Wednesday afternoon. Casey's parents, George and Cindy Anthony, tried to get out of answering questions under oath in a defamation lawsuit filed against their daughter Casey and they were successful, at least for a now.

The day before the Anthonys were supposed to be questioned about their public comments naming Zenaida Gonzalez as the woman who took Caylee, the Anthonys' attorney told the judge it wouldn't be fair to force them to face depositions with cameras rolling.

George Anthony testified against his daughter Casey on October 14 of last year before a grand jury for first-degree murder. But Wednesday, their attorney went to court telling a judge that they are not emotionally able to handle testifying in the defamation lawsuit against their daughter Casey.

"They believed that they had a murder case, but they didn't have a body. Now they do and you can see what it's done to this family," attorney Brad Conway said Wednesday.

The Anthonys' attorney said both are under a doctor's care as they grieve for their granddaughter Caylee, who disappeared eight months ago and whose remains were found more than two months ago, but he did not bring any evidence to court Wednesday to show that would legally prevent them from testifying.

"To spend three hours and answer questions for my client, who kind of gets lost in all of this and her rights, is probably the least painful thing they're gonna have to do in the next month," attorney Keith Mitnik said.

Mitnik, Zenaida Gonzalez's attorney, says she has a right to clear her name, she was sucked into the case through no actions of her own and the Anthonys have actually perpetuated the accusations that have ruined her reputation, such as a statement Cindy made in July about Casey forgiving Zenaida for taking off with Caylee.

"She forgives her and wants her to bring Caylee back to us safely," Cindy said in July.
"It is frustrating. She needs to move forward. We're gonna get 'em under oath. I wish tomorrow, but it's coming," Mitnik said.

It could boil down to whether the defense wants to use Zenaida Gonzalez as an option for creating "reasonable doubt" in the case, which is exactly what Zenaida is worried about.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A lawyer for Casey Anthony's brother Lee said his client will give sworn testimony Friday morning in connection with the defamation suit brought by Zenaida Gonzalez.

Gonzalez has the same name as the person Casey Anthony named as her daughter Caylee's nanny. Casey Anthony said Caylee's nanny kidnapped the toddler last summer.

Casey Anthony is currently being held on murder charges at the Orange County Jail.
Gonzalez said she is looking to have her name legally changed.

Television cameras will be invited into the downtown courtroom Friday, according to attorney John Morgan.

Morgan said Gonzalez's name was taken in a public forum, so it should not be cleared behind closed doors.

Lee Anthony's attorney said Anthony wants to get the deposition over with. He said he knows nothing about Gonzalez.

Gonzalez's lawyer said his client may claim not to know much, but they still have plenty of questions to ask.

The deposition is slated for 9 a.m.

Judge delays questioning of parents in defamation case against Casey Anthony

The lawyers representing Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez -- the woman suing Casey Anthony in a defamation case -- will have to wait to question George and Cindy Anthony under oath.

Orange Circuit Court Judge Jose R. Rodriguez postponed the depositions, which were scheduled for Thursday, until media outlets could submit documents on why they should be allowed to attend the interviews.

The media have 20 days to respond.

The Anthonys' attorney, Brad Conway, argued that the Anthonys are seeing counselors to help cope with their granddaughter's death and their daughter's arrest. The stress of taking depositions in front of the media may prove too much for them, he said.

Rodriguez asked to see psychological reports from the Anthonys' doctors about the issue. He will review them under seal, which means the documents are not public record...

One day after Caylee Marie Anthony's memorial service, the lawyer representing the toddler's grandparents confirmed the girl's remains have been cremated and that they are not located at her family's home. Attorney Brad Conway, who represents George and Cindy Anthony, wouldn't say where Caylee's remains are being kept.

Conway also addressed a question many were left wondering after Tuesday's memorial: Who was her uncle Lee Anthony referring to when he repeatedly said "CMA?"Was he referring to Caylee? Was he talking to his sister -- and Caylee's mother -- Casey Anthony? They both share the same initials.

When Lee Anthony eulogized his niece at the pulpit at First Baptist Church, he brought with him a laptop and read from it. He told the mourners to withhold judgment and to fill their hearts with patience and grace. He spoke about "CMA," saying how much he missed her and will never forget the promise he made to her. Who is "CMA?" Lee Anthony was "talking to all of them," Conway said."He wanted his sister to know he loves her."

The memorial served as an emotional day of closure for a family that has been in the media glare since last summer when Caylee was reported missing....On Tuesday, a crowd of about 1,100 people -- many of whom never met Caylee -- got a glimpse of the joy she brought to her family.

Uncle Lee Anthony first spoke for the family. As George Anthony spoke, mourners across the worship center wept. When he finished speaking, they gave him a standing ovation...Cindy Anthony, who has not visited her daughter in jail for months, addressed her from the sanctuary...

Attorney stays Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, met with her for two hours Tuesday but gave few details to reporters waiting for him outside the jail. "It was important for me to be here with her -- to be with her at this time," Baez said. "It's very frankly a private matter, and that's the way it should be." Baez wouldn't answer questions.

...More than 100 relatives and friends of the Anthony's crowded into reserved pews at the front of the church Tuesday to give support to the family. Although Caylee was the focus of the service, her remains were not there. It was unclear where they are or what will be done with them.

Casey Anthony's defense attorney has been criticized for his choice of a media firm -- and the recent revelation that a man who served prison time for attempting to extort a journalist has acted as the lawyer's spokesman.

But Jose Baez and that company have parted ways, the Orlando Sentinel learned today. In a statement e-mailed to the Sentinel, Baez said, "Press Corps Media is no longer affiliated with The Baez Law Firm."The Kissimmee lawyer did not comment further.

Since September, a spokesman who used the name Todd Black routinely talked to news reporters and issued statements about the Anthony case on behalf of Baez. But Black never agreed to in-person interviews and refused to reveal his true identity.

Last week, Press Corps Media confirmed that at least one "Todd Black" persona is Gil Cabot, who was sentenced to five years in a California prison after he was convicted of attempting to extort television journalist Jann Carl. Court records and news reports state Cabot had run-ins with the law before and after the Carl case.

Family Does Not Want Videotape Of Visit Released To Public

ORLANDO, Fla. -- George and Cindy Anthony's lawyer confirmed that the family wants to set up a special private video visit with Casey Anthony...A spokesman for Orange County corrections told WESH 2 it would be up to the sheriff's department to decide whether to videotape the visit.

The grandfather spoke about what he plans to do with his second chance at life. His plans are to help other families with missing kids.

"If there's anything at all that any of us can ever do is to look for these children," George Anthony said. So, will he drive up and help look for Haleigh Cummings?

George Anthony will be a key witness in the state's murder case against his daughter, just as he gave evidence to the grand jury that indicted her...

Memorial Service May Have Sparked Rift In Family: Caylee Anthony's memorial service exposed a developing rift between what George and Cindy Anthony wanted versus Casey Anthony's desires. Right, Casey wanted a $15,000 coffin, plot and stone, to bury the bones that were left of her daughter, the one she killed. And of course, she expects her parents to pay for that. Hell, if Casey was still out, she'd do it herself on Cindy's credit.

Casey Anthony's defense attorney, Jose Baez, said it is nothing more than a disagreement.
"Just because of simple disagreements it does not mean there's a rift between the family or anything like that," Baez said.

Members of George and Cindy Anthony's inner circle said they resented Baez's statement on Casey Anthony's behalf and how long it took the defense team to get Caylee's remains. The couple's lawyer would not address the controversy outside Caylee's memorial.

"I’m not going to answer that question today. I want everything to be positive and that's the way we're going to keep it," said Brady Conway, George and Cindy Anthony's attorney.

Publicly, the Anthonys expressed nothing but love and support for their daughter.
"I love you and I wish I could comfort you right now," Cindy Anthony said.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- The start of Casey Anthony's murder trial could be as long as a year away. There are many things, legally and in the investigation, that still need to be completed.

Eyewitness News believes evidence discovered where Caylee's remains were found and at her house are still being tested. According to defense expert Dr. Henry Lee's writings, Casey's defense team could be going so far as to analyze the root growth of plants to determine how long Caylee's body was there.

Investigators spent more than a week at the scene where Caylee Anthony's remains were found, sifting through the dirt by hand. One of the things they found was a heart-shaped sticker that investigators said matched up to adhesive found on the duct tape over her mouth.

Investigators had bug and plant experts at the scene, too, to help determine how long Caylee was there and where else her body had been. Boxes of evidence were removed from her house less than a mile away using two different search warrants based on what was found at the scene.

Once the testing of the evidence is done, the defense will go into research and attack mode.
"The integrity of it, the testing of it, the conclusions that were drawn by the testing, the credentials of the prosecution experts as opposed to the defense experts," explained WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer.

Sheaffer told Eyewitness News the defense will probably hold hearings to convince the judge to throw out a lot of the most damning evidence.

There are about 145 witnesses listed so far, including Casey's family members. Only five of them, including Casey's ex-boyfriend who she spent the night with the day Caylee disappeared, have been only partially deposed by the defense.

"For every hour that you spend in trial you spend potentially ten hours in preparation," Sheaffer said.

Someone recently left a SpongeBob SquarePants balloon at the remains scene, possibly after George Anthony's touching story about how she loved to imitate his sidekick Patrick with her raspy voice.

When WFTV's news crew arrived at the remains scene Wednesday afternoon, there were 11 people at the memorial paying their respects to Caylee.

Anthony's Family Subpoenaed In Gonzalez Case

Anthony Given 30 Days To Answer

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A series of questions written on behalf of the woman Casey Anthony claimed was Caylee’s baby sitter has been given to Anthony to answer within 30 days.

Meanwhile, Anthony’s parents, Cindy and George, and her brother, Lee, also were subpoenaed in the civil case.

Zenaida Gonzalez, 37, was named by Anthony in July as the woman who kidnapped her daughter, Caylee.

Gonzalez denied knowing the Anthonys and has since sued Anthony for defamation of character.
The questions for Anthony were constructed by Circuit Judge Jose R. Rodriguez in an effort to assist Gonzalez in clearing her name in the case.

A month after Caylee’s disappearance, Anthony told investigators the last time she saw her daughter was when she left her with Gonzalez at the Sawgrass Apartments.

Casey Anthony takes the Fifth in defamation suit

Casey Anthony doesn't plan on answering a series of written questions posed on behalf of a woman suing her, including whether Anthony knows who killed her daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony, and whether she was involved.

Anthony is going to reply to each question by citing her Fifth Amendment right because of concerns the answers could be used in the criminal case against her, her civil attorney, Jonathan Kasen, said Monday.

Lawyers for Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez, who filed a defamation suit against the Orange County murder suspect, sent the questions to Anthony's attorney Monday, according to court documents.

Circuit Judge Jose R. Rodriguez came up with the compromise of posing written questions last month after Anthony's attorneys tried to stop a videotaped deposition of Anthony in jail.

The judge was trying to balance Fernandez-Gonzalez's civil-court efforts to clear her name and Anthony's rights in the criminal process. When Caylee's disappearance was first reported in July, Anthony, 22, told investigators that a month earlier she had left the 2-year-old with a baby sitter named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez at Sawgrass Apartments, and when she returned later that day both were gone.

Authorities interviewed 37-year-old Fernandez-Gonzalez, who told them she didn't know Anthony or her daughter. Caylee's remains were found in December a short walk from the home she shared with Anthony and her grandparents.

Every time I come across that bit of info, I remember Cindy screaming at everyone at a candle-light vigil to get out there and find her granddaughter. The irony is not lost on me that if she had taken a walk/search through her own neighborhood, she might have found Caylee herself.

Among the questions submitted to Anthony to answer in writing:

*How did you describe (baby sitter Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez) to law enforcement?

*List everyone you told that Caylee was with Zenaida Gonzalez the last time you saw her

*Do you admit the Zenaida Gonzalez who is suing you has never baby-sat for Caylee?

*Do you admit the story you told law enforcement that Caylee was with someone named Zenaida Gonzalez the last time you saw her is not true?

*Roy Kronk, the Orange County Utilities meter reader who was thrust into the national spotlight when he found Caylee's remains, was reassigned to a new job Monday, his lawyer said. Kronk was reassigned to work in inventory control at a warehouse -- a position he requested before he found the remains.

*Allen Moore, a spokesman for the Orange County Jail, confirmed there will be a verbal notice given to Anthony's criminal defense attorney, Jose Baez, about jail policies because a prohibited item -- a rubber wristband inscribed with "Forever in our hearts Caylee Marie Anthony" -- was found with the clothing Baez dropped off Wednesday for Casey Anthony's court hearing Friday.

So...first it was a little jail-house hugging, no doubt "comforting" Casey, as she had complained to her parents in the infamous video whine session replayed daily on all the news channels, since she was all alone with no one to comfort her. Who was there to comfort little Caylee when her mother turned on her?

On Nancy Grace last night, Leonard Padilla, who broadcasts his theories as if they are fact, indicated that instead of Casey and Caylee leaving the Anthony house on June 16 at 12:50 as George has stated, that Casey actually stormed out of the house with Caylee on the night of June 15, after the fight between Casey and Cindy over the money stolen from Grampa Pleasee's retirement home account. The night Cindy tried to choke Casey (also according to Padilla.)

Defamation lawyers can question Casey Anthony in writing, judge decides

A videotaped deposition of Casey Anthony won't happen in the near future, but lawyers representing Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez in a defamation case against Anthony can pose their questions in writing.

Orange Circuit Court Judge Jose R. Rodriguez came up with the compromise Thursday in an effort to balance Fernandez-Gonzalez's civil-court efforts to clear her name and Anthony's rights in the criminal process.

Anthony, 22, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter Caylee Marie. The toddler's remains were found Dec. 11 a short walk from the Hopespring Drive home she shared with her mother and grandparents. In July, Anthony told investigators that a month earlier she had left the toddler with a baby sitter named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez, and when she returned later that day both were gone.

Authorities tracked down and questioned 37-year-old Fernandez-Gonzalez, who told them she didn't know Anthony or her child.

Fernandez-Gonzalez's attorneys wanted to ask Anthony questions in a deposition Monday at the Orange County Jail. But Anthony's legal team moved to stop the meeting, saying she would assert her Fifth Amendment right to refuse questions under oath. They feared her answers in the civil case could be used against her in her criminal case.

Keith Mitnik, one of Fernandez-Gonzalez's attorneys, said he was pleased with the judge's decision. He plans to have the written questions ready by the end of the week. The judge ruled that Anthony has 30 days to answer. The first questions will be: Is his client the Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez whom Anthony described to authorities? And what did she tell them?

FBI Analyzing Tooth, Hair Found At Crime Scene

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The state confirmed Wednesday that clothing was also found in the trash bag full of a child's remains discovered near the Anthony home.

The remains were found last Thursday just blocks away from the home of Caylee Anthony, who was first reported missing five months ago.

Her mother, Casey Anthony, has been jailed on a first-degree murder charge.
The clothing discovery is the strongest sign yet that the state believes the remains belong to Caylee, reported WESH 2's Bob Kealing.

Authorities said they're uncovering new evidence almost every day. Sources said they believe the victim was dumped soon after the slaying.

Prosecutors visited the crime scene along Suburban Drive on Wednesday. They learned that crime scene investigators and FBI forensics experts wouldn't be done processing the area until at least Thursday.

Teams carrying machetes continued cutting into the wooded area, and they expanded the search area from a half acre to an acre.

Investigators said the crime scene continues to give up more and more clues. Crime scene investigator technicians hope to piece together not only who the child was, but how the child died, and perhaps when the remains were dumped there in a plastic bag.

Two prosecutors met with investigators on Wednesday morning for a progress report on the search effort.

A short news conference was held to announce the search would stretch into an eighth day.
"We expected that it might have been late this afternoon that this scene might have been able to be cleared, but as we continue to discover items at the scene, we'll continue to hold the scene irregardless of identification. The medical examiner will make that determination as to when it is proper to make a proper announcement regarding identification," Orange County Sheriff's Office Capt. Angelo Nieves said.

Authorities also announced that FBI analysts began work to identify the remains by using a tooth and hair found at the crime scene.

One woman said off camera Wednesday that she was part of a Texas Equusearch team that scoured this area. She claims to have photographic evidence that proves the remains were not there when they searched. Investigators reviewed the photos and took her statement.
Earlier Wednesday, lead investigators briefed two state attorneys whose job it is to prosecute Casey Anthony on murder charges.

A steady stream of people continued to come to the scene to pay their respects and reflect.

Zenaida Gonzalez Prepares To Fight Further Involvement In Anthony Case

A local woman named Zenaida Gonzalez was dragged into the Caylee Anthony saga, even though she said she doesn't know anyone who is involved. As the case against Anthony moves forward, the question remains if Gonzalez will be dragged in again.

Attorney John Morgan, who represents Zenaida Gonzalez, said if the Anthonys or Casey Anthony's attorney continue to throw out his client's name as a possible suspect, they've picked the wrong person to mess with.

Gonzalez filed a lawsuit against Casey Anthony in September claiming Casey defamed her. Gonzalez was falsely named by Casey as a possible abductor of Caylee even though the two have never met.

Morgan believes with the recent discovery of remains, if they turn out to be Caylee, the defense will likely return to its claim that Caylee was stolen by "Zanny the nanny."

"And they've kicked this dog and they've kicked this dog and all of the sudden it went away. Now OK it wasn't Zenaida, she's still alive and now they've circled back ant they've decided to kick Zenaida Gonzalez one more time, but they're going to find out they've kicked the wrong dog," Morgan said.

Morgan is scheduled to depose George and Cindy Anthony in his office at 9 a.m. Monday. He said if the Anthonys don't show up, he may hold them in contempt of court. Morgan also plans to depose Casey Anthony in jail but her attorney, Jose Baez, said he's going to try to block that.

Casey Anthony has counter-sued Gonzalez, claiming that Gonzalez is simply looking to cash in on a high-profile case.

John Morgan Reacts To Countersuit Against Gonzalez

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Attorney John Morgan said Monday he plans to depose Casey Anthony in jail, now that she has counter-sued Zenaida Gonzalez.

Morgan told WESH 2 News that the countersuit obligates Anthony to give a deposition or drop the suit. :-)

Anthony is in Orange County Jail, accused of killing her 3-year-old daughter, Caylee, who has not been seen since June. Anthony told investigators a woman named Zenaida Gonzalez was Caylee’s nanny and disappear with her.

In her original lawsuit filed by Morgan, Gonzalez says Anthony’s statements defamed her. Gonzalez said she lost her job, got hate mail, and was afraid for her family.

In her countersuit, Anthony denies she defamed Gonzalez. She said the suit is frivolous, because she was referring to a different Zenaida Gonzalez in her conversations with investigators. The countersuit also says Morgan’s firm filed the Gonzalez lawsuit to generate publicity.

Morgan, in an interview with WESH 2 News, also was critical of Cindy Anthony, Casey Anthony’s mother. On Sunday, Cindy Anthony called Morgan “an ambulance chaser,” which Morgan called slander.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Attorneys for Casey Anthony have filed a counter suit against Zenaida Gonzalez, WESH 2 News confirmed on Friday.

Anthony, the mother of missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony, is seeking money in the claim against Gonzalez, the woman Anthony said was her daughter's nanny.

Todd Black, Anthony's law firm's representative, said Gonzalez was only trying to profit from the high-profile case.

Black also said that the Florida Bar Association is reviewing the lawsuit filed by the Morgan and Morgan law firm.

He said, next week, there should be an amendment to that lawsuit or a formal complaint will be filed with the bar alleging that John Morgan knew that his client is not the same Zenaida Gonzalez identified by Anthony and that his lawsuit is frivolous and was merely an attempt to generate publicity for his own business.

Zenaida Gonzalez Tells Channel 9 "My World Has Been Turned Upside-Down"

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- The woman Casey Anthony says last had Caylee Anthony says the accusation has turned her world upside down. Channel Nine's Mary Nguyen spoke with Zenaida Gonzalez at the RDV complex in Maitland on Monday morning.

Zenaida Gonzalez is the woman who Casey Anthony claims took 3-year-old Caylee. She said, ever since Casey Anthony told authorities that Gonzalez lived at the Sawgrass Apartments and took care of Caylee, her world has been turned upside down.

"I also do have those threatening phone calls at 2:00 or 3:00am, threatening my kids, threatening myself," Gonzalez said.

For the first time, Zenaida Gonzalez revealed her face to the public. Gonzalez is a single mother of six and says she is having a hard time coping. She wants everyone to know that she is innocent.

"To clear my name, to get some type of closure. I want the truth to come out. I want them to know that I didn't do anything wrong, "said Gonzalez.

When Caylee Anthony was reported missing, Casey told detectives the last time she saw her daughter was when she dropped her off at the Sawgrass Apartments. She said she left her with a nanny by the name of Zenaida Gonzalez.

Gonzalez said she never met Casey Anthony. She took a tour of the apartment complex earlier in the year, but that's the only connection she has to them.

Detectives believe Casey made up the name, but Gonzalez says people all over the country are blaming her for Caylee's disappearance.

"They call me bad words right from the beginning and tell me they are going to do bad things to my daughters for what I did to little Casey, I mean Caylee," she said.

Gonzalez and her Attorney John Morgan filed a civil lawsuit last week. They said they want her name cleared.

Zenaida said that she has been fired from her job and due to the incident; no one wants to hire her. Gonzalez also said she just got of the hospital on Sunday because of a bleeding ulcer.
