1 in 85 people develop melanonma at some point in their lifetime.
Melanoma is most often associated with sun exposure,
mostly from sunburns during childhood.

Minute Clinics and CVS Pharmacies
in the
Nashville Area
are offering
Free Cholesterol Screenings May 11- June 7.
No appointment is necessary.
People over 20 years of age
need to have their choleserol checked
every 5 years.

Minute Clinics and CVS have joined up for this program
to reduce the risk of heart disease and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

You may consider taking along your husband as your 'friend'. Many men think they are not susceptible, when in reality, they are somewhat more likely to develop skin cancer than women. Especially on their facial areas. This is due to not using an SPF while working outdoors or golfing and gardening. Some men do not want to take that extra step of applying an SPF.
Women are fortunate that most of our makeup now comes with an added SPF of at least 15.
