Casey Anthony Case - Source: "Kronk now believes he saw skull in August"

A source close to the Casey Anthony investigation is reporting that Roy Kronk now believes he saw Caylee Anthony’s skull sticking out of a bag the first day he reported something suspicious in the woods in August.

Kronk mentions seeing something white in his first 911 call, but said a deputy who came to the scene blew him off, and was "rude".

Newly appointed Orange County Sheriff, Jerry Demings, states that the department’s Internal Affairs division is scheduled for today, Thursday, to interview the deputy who met with Kronk that day in August.

Kronk, a meter reader, said Deputy Richard Cain was rude and did not take seriously his tip about a suspicious bag when Kronk called authorities in August. After forty minutes, Cain responded to dispatch he was "10-8" or "back in service". Cain's reports show the disposition of the call as "trash only."

Four months later, Kronk went back to that area and found Caylee's remains.

Kronk’s attorney would not comment on details, but did confirm Kronk gave a sworn statement to investigators days before speaking out Tuesday on ABCs Good Morning America.

Records show complaints have been filed twice in the past against Cain, a three-year veteran deputy, for failure to follow up thoroughly on citizen calls. Cain was cleared both times.
